Protection, Women’s Empowerment, and Financial Inclusion

WASI expanded protection and empowerment services for women and girls, including psychosocial support, GBV case management and referrals, and the establishment of women- and girls-friendly spaces. Survivors of violence accessed integrated protection and economic support, while gender-transformative activities challenged harmful norms and improved women’s participation in economic and community decision-making. Financial inclusion initiatives enhanced access to savings, credit, and income-generating opportunities.
